Squirrel Monkeys welcome the newest members of their troop

We are very pleased to announce that we have several new squirrel monkey babies! The common squirrel monkey is an incredible species  found throughout Central and South America. Weighing only 2 pounds upon maturity, these monkeys are both small and adorable! The new babies will be dependent on their mothers for a year before entering the juvenile phase of their life cycle, which will continue until they are between 3 and 5 years old. Squirrel monkeys can live to be 25 years old in captivity!
